ARISAKA 600 SERIES LIGHT BODY FDE

Description

The Arisaka 600 Series Light Body in Cerakote FDE is a purpose-built replacement body for the SureFire Scout Light M600, designed specifically for shooters who run the Arisaka Inline Scout Mount on handguards with 45-degree mounting surfaces near the top Picatinny rail. The standard M600 body can create front sight clearance problems in that configuration; this body eliminates that interference by omitting the stock Picatinny clamp interface entirely, which also sheds weight down to 0.6 oz. The trade-off is intentional — you supply your own mounting solution, and in return you get a slimmer, lighter body that sits closer to the rail.

Compatibility is broad but not universal. The body accepts Scout Light M600 series tailcaps and works with KM2C, KE2A, and KX2C light heads, including IR variants. It will not accept the SureFire M600DF head, and it supports 16650 cells but not 18650 cells — a distinction worth confirming against your existing components before ordering. The light head, tailcap, and mounting hardware are not included, making this a component purchase rather than a complete light.

Construction is CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum, finished in Cerakote FDE rather than anodizing, which gives the body its color and a degree of chemical resistance suited to field use. Two Buna-N O-rings — one #17 and one #15 — are included to maintain weather sealing. Manufactured in the USA by Arisaka Defense.
