Description

The EOTech EXPS2 and EXPS3 are capable holographic sights, but their OEM mount positions the optic centerline at 1.725 inches — a height that sits between the two standard absolute co-witness heights used with modern red dot and magnifier setups. That gap forces shooters to either accept a non-standard cheek weld or stack a separate riser beneath the sight, adding complexity and weight. The Arisaka Eotech EXPS Mount Mk2 solves this by replacing the OEM mount entirely rather than adding to it, bringing the optic centerline to a true 1.93 inches without any additional hardware.

At 1.93 inches, the mount aligns directly with Arisaka’s own 1.93-inch magnifier, making it a natural pairing for shooters running a flip-to-side magnifier behind an EXPS sight. The QD lever from the original mount design is preserved here through the inclusion of an ADM QD lever, so the quick-detach capability that many EXPS owners rely on is not sacrificed in the transition. The mount weighs 2.6 ounces — a modest increase over the OEM unit that reflects the added aluminum required to achieve the height change as a single machined component rather than a stacked assembly.

Construction is CNC machined from 7075-T651 aluminum and finished with MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodizing, which provides a dense, wear-resistant surface baked into the metal rather than sitting on top of it. This black anodized version ships with spare mounting hardware and is compatible with all reticle variants of the EXPS3 and EXPS2, including the EXPS3-0, EXPS3-1, EXPS3-2, and EXPS3-DCR. It is not compatible with the EXPS3 HD, XPS3, XPS2, or the 500-series EoTech models. The mount is made in the USA and covered under U.S. patent protection.
