ARISAKA INLINE SCOUT MOUNT PICATINNY

Description

The Arisaka Inline Scout Mount (ISM-P) solves a specific clearance problem: when you run a B.E. Meyers MAWL on a rail, the body of a standard Surefire Scout or compatible weapon light sits high enough to conflict with the laser unit. This mount replaces the stock Picatinny adapter that ships with those lights and repositions the light body so it tucks underneath the MAWL without interference. Three mounting positions are provided, allowing the light to shift up to 0.12 inches to either side of center, so you can dial in clearance based on the exact head diameter of your light.

The base profile sits only 0.20 inches above the mounting surface, keeping the light as close to the rail as geometry allows. That low stance also shifts the light’s center of mass closer to the rifle, which reduces the leverage effect that can cause a cantilevered light to walk under recoil over time. Compatible lights include the Surefire M300 and M600 families, the Modlite PLH, PLHv2 and OKW, the Arisaka 300 and 600 Series, the Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X (non-laser), Cloud Defensive REIN, and the Olight Odin. Installation requires an IP27/T27 and IP20/T20 Torx driver; a T9 Torx is needed to remove the factory mount from Surefire Scout bodies. Arisaka specifies 20 inch-lbs on the light body fastener and 30 inch-lbs on the clamping screw, with a low- or medium-strength threadlocker such as Loctite 222 or 243.

The mount is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize. Necessary screws are included.
