SUREFIRE REPLCEMNT REAR CAP M300 TAN

Description

The SureFire UE-TN is a replacement rear cap assembly designed to convert a Scout Light WeaponLight from its standard push-button tailcap to a tape-switch-ready configuration. If you want to run a SureFire tape switch on your M300 or another compatible Scout Light, this cap is the part that makes it possible — the stock push-button cap does not accept a tape switch, so the UE-TN is the necessary interface rather than an optional upgrade.

The lock-out function is the other practical reason to fit this cap. Once engaged, it breaks the circuit entirely, preventing the light from firing during storage, vehicle transport, or any situation where an accidental activation would be a liability. That is a straightforward mechanical solution that requires no batteries, no software, and no additional accessories.

Construction is aerospace-grade aluminum with a Mil-Spec Type III hard-anodize over the Desert Tan finish. Type III anodize is a hard-coat process that produces a denser, more abrasion-resistant surface than standard Type II, which matters on a part that sees regular handling and is threaded on and off a weapon light body. The Desert Tan color matches SureFire’s own Desert Tan Scout Light bodies. The tape switch itself is sold separately — this cap does not include the ST07 or any other switch assembly.

Compatibility extends to Scout Light WeaponLights and flashlights with a 0.75-inch diameter switch body, including the E1B, E1E-HA, E2D-BK, E2DL-BK, and several others in the Scout family. It is not compatible with the Micro Scout Light Pro platform.
