Description
The Arisaka Inline Scout Pro Mount is built for shooters who run a SureFire Scout Light Pro and want the light positioned directly in line with the bore rather than offset to the side. That inline geometry keeps the beam centered on the target and prevents the barrel or suppressor from casting a shadow across the illuminated field — a real problem when running a compensator or a suppressor on a shorter rifle. This mount is designed as a drop-in replacement for the OEM M-Lok mount that ships with compatible Scout Light Pro bodies, so no adapter or additional hardware is required to make the transition.
The triangular cross-section is a deliberate structural choice: it resists twisting and bending under recoil and handling in a way that a flat rail section cannot, keeping zero between range sessions. The mount can be positioned flush with the handguard or extended in a cantilever configuration off the muzzle end, giving you the ability to push the light forward and reduce barrel shadow even further without permanently modifying the handguard. Compatible Scout Light Pro models include the M140A, M340DFT, M340C, M340V, M640DFT, M640DF, M640U, and M640V.
Construction is CNC-machined 6061-T651 aluminum with a MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize, which provides a harder, more wear-resistant surface than standard Type II anodizing. Installation hardware is included: two M-Lok nuts and two 10-24×3/8″ hex cap head screws. Arisaka recommends 30 inch-pounds of torque on the M-Lok screws with Loctite 222 or 243 applied. Made in the USA and covered under U.S. Patent No. D1010205.
