ARISAKA OFFSET SCOUT MOUNT MCX M-LOK

Description

The Arisaka Offset Scout Mount MCX is built for shooters running a standard SIG MCX Virtus M-LOK handguard who want a weapon light positioned out of the way of their optics, sights, and support hand without adding bulk. It replaces the factory Picatinny rail adapter entirely, sitting directly in the M-LOK slots and orienting the light at 45 degrees — placing it at roughly the 1:30 or 10:30 clock position. That angle keeps the light body clear of a top-rail optic’s objective bell and puts the hotspot where a thumb or pressure switch can reach it naturally.

The mount offers three lateral positions for the light body, spanning approximately 0.240 inches of total travel. That adjustment exists for a practical reason: front sight towers, suppressor mounts, and handguard geometry vary enough that a fixed-position mount would force compromises on clearance. Sliding the light body forward or rearward along those three positions lets the shooter dial in exactly how much gap sits between the light head and whatever else is on the rail.

One important fit note: this mount is cut specifically for the standard MCX handguard, which has a tall profile with flat sides. It will not seat correctly on the MCX suppressor-compliant handguard — Arisaka’s standard M-LOK Offset Scout Mount is the appropriate choice for that variant. Shooters running a top-rail laser such as an LA-5, PEQ-15, NGAL, or DBAL should look at the Side Scout Mount MCX instead, since the 45-degree offset can create clearance conflicts with those units.

The mount is CNC machined from 6061-T651 aluminum and finished in MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize. Installation hardware is included — M-LOK nuts, Torx button head screws for the rail, and Torx flat head screws for the light body. A T20 Torx or IP20 TorxPlus driver handles installation; the driver is not included. Made in the USA and covered by U.S. patents.
