Description
The Arisaka Defense Offset Scout Mount for the SIG MCX is built for shooters who want a weapon light positioned out of the way of other rail real estate without sacrificing a usable mounting angle. Rather than placing the light flat along the top or bottom of the handguard, this mount angles the light body 45 degrees when installed on the MCX’s side M-LOK surfaces, putting it at roughly the 1:30 or 10:30 clock position. That placement keeps the light close to the bore axis while leaving the top rail clear for sights, optics, or a laser.
The MCX handguard presents a specific challenge: its tall profile with flat sides doesn’t share geometry with standard M-LOK handguards, so a universal offset mount won’t sit flush or retain properly. Arisaka machines this mount specifically to match the MCX handguard’s contour, which matters for both a clean fit and consistent light alignment. If you’re running the suppressor-compliant MCX handguard instead of the standard one, this mount is not the right fit — Arisaka makes a separate model for that configuration.
Three lateral positions let you shift the light body closer to or farther from the top rail, giving about 0.240 inches of adjustment to clear front sights or stack accessories without the light head fouling on anything. Compatible lights include Surefire Scout M300 and M600 series, Modlite PLH and OKW, Arisaka’s own 300, 600, and 18650 series, Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1, 2, and HL-X (non-laser variant), Olight Odin, and Cloud Defensive REIN. Installation requires an IP20 TorxPlus driver, which is not included. The mount is CNC machined from 6061-T651 aluminum and finished with a MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize in Flat Dark Earth.
