The receiver starts as a hot-die hammer forged blank produced at the Arsenal facility in Bulgaria, then goes through more than five and a half hours of CNC milling before assembly. Forging aligns the grain structure of the steel in a way that bar-stock machining cannot replicate, and the result is a receiver with no internal voids or cooling deformations. The bolt and bolt carrier go through the same forging process, so the entire operating group shares that material consistency.

The barrel is cold hammer-forged on Steyr-derived machinery, and the bore and chamber are hard-chrome plated. Chrome lining resists corrosion and erosion from the wide variety of 7.62×39 ammunition available on the market, which matters if the rifle sees steady use or sits in storage for extended periods between range sessions.

The muzzle carries a removable nut over 14x1mm left-hand threads, preserving the option to fit compatible muzzle devices without permanently altering the barrel. A bayonet and accessory lug is present on the barrel.

The FIME Enhanced Fire Control Group replaces the standard double-hook arrangement with a single-hook trigger designed to shorten travel and smooth the pull. The disconnector’s elongated tail bears fully against the rear trigger guard rivet, and a hammer stop prevents the hammer from rebounding into the trigger — two geometric solutions that work together to eliminate trigger slap rather than simply dampening it.

The straight-back under-folding stock locks on both sides of the receiver with four pins in both the folded and extended positions, keeping the rifle in line with the bore rather than canting under recoil. This is a structural change from the older tilt-down design, and it keeps the shooter’s hold more consistent between shots.
