The Arsenal SAS M-7 is a limited-edition, military-pattern AK built for the collector or serious shooter who wants the closest civilian-accessible analogue to the actual Bulgarian military contract rifle. Only 100 were produced, which makes this something to decide on quickly rather than come back to later.

The foundation is a U.S.-made hot-die hammer-forged milled receiver — not stamped. A milled receiver adds weight relative to a stamped variant, but it also eliminates any flex in the receiver walls and produces a stiffer, more consistent interface between the bolt carrier and the trunnion over a long service life. The barrel is cold hammer-forged, a process that leaves the bore harder and more wear-resistant than button-rifled alternatives, and at a 1:9.44-inch twist it stabilizes standard 7.62×39 projectile weights reliably without demanding premium ammunition.

The modern straight under-folding stock is reinforced to accept a GP-25 under-barrel grenade launcher attachment point — a structural detail that signals how thoroughly this design mirrors the original military specification. The 24×1.5mm right-hand threaded muzzle is fitted with Arsenal’s AK-133S stainless steel flash hider. The entire metal finish is Arsenal Black Cerakote, which resists corrosion and abrasion better than bluing.

The fire control group is a FIME Enhanced unit, which offers a cleaner break than a standard mil-spec AK trigger. Furniture is black polymer with Picatinny rails on three sides of the handguard, giving direct attachment options without an adapter. Each rifle ships with a serialized manual, a signed inspection card, a cleaning rod, cleaning kit, oil bottle, black canvas sling, and one engraved M-47W 30-round magazine in a CNC-foam-lined special-edition case with additional magazine capacity slots.
