Description
The B5 Systems Bravo is a stripped-down collapsible buttstock built for AR-platform rifles running a mil-spec receiver extension. It suits shooters who want a dependable, no-frills stock that gets out of the way and does its job without adding weight or complexity to the rifle.
The angled butt profile is the core design decision here. Rather than a flat, perpendicular surface, the angle is intended to guide the stock consistently into the shoulder pocket on a fast mount, reducing the time it takes to settle into a repeatable cheek position. That consistency matters more than it might seem across a long range session or any situation where you are bringing the rifle up repeatedly.
The cheek weld surface is shaped to put your eye at a predictable height relative to the bore, which matters most when running optics with a fixed eye box. Hardware throughout is color-matched steel rather than plastic, so the points that see actual mechanical stress — the QD sling mounts in particular — hold up to the lateral and rotational forces a sling puts on them under load. The QD mounts are overmolded directly into the stock body, which eliminates the rotation that a separately attached swivel socket can develop over time.
A cushioned butt pad handles the contact point with your shoulder, and a positive-engagement stock latch keeps the stock locked at your chosen position without creep. The entire assembly is made to mil-spec material and finish standards and fits any mil-spec AR-15 receiver extension without modification. This Flat Dark Earth version carries B5’s own FDE finish across the polymer body with color-matched hardware throughout.
