The B5 Systems Type 23 P-Grip in MultiCam is a straightforward replacement for the standard A2 pistol grip on AR-15 and AR-10 platform rifles. Where the A2 grip was designed around a shooting posture that most modern technique has moved away from, the Type 23 shifts to a more vertical angle that naturally positions the wrist in line with the bore and keeps the trigger finger indexed correctly without forcing an awkward bend at the joint. That geometry matters most to shooters who use a thumbs-forward hold or work from body armor, where the A2’s shallower rake tends to compromise wrist alignment.

The extended tang at the rear of the grip closes the gap between the grip and lower receiver, which eliminates the exposed ledge that can dig into the web of the hand during sustained shooting. The grip also accepts a standard battery storage plug, keeping that internal cavity useful rather than empty.
