The BCM A/T Mount is designed for shooters who need their Aimpoint Micro T2 to hold zero through hard use — not just range sessions, but the kind of sustained, dynamic work where a shifting optic is a genuine problem. The 1.93-inch mounting height positions the T2 for a true absolute co-witness with standard AR-15 iron sights, so backup aiming remains immediately usable without any adapter or riser adjustment.

The engineering centers on the Angled Torque clamping system, which is patented and meaningfully different from the horizontal cross-bolt interfaces that have been standard on Picatinny mounts for decades. Where a conventional clamp pulls straight across the rail, the A/T design applies force at an angle, triangulating load across the rail faces and generating roughly twice the clamping force for the same input torque. A serrated locking spring-washer backs up the shaft nut to resist torque loss from vibration and recoil cycles. Torque spec is 65 inch-pounds — a precise, repeatable number rather than a feel-based approximation.

Multiple integral recoil lugs are machined directly into the mount body to resist both recoil and counter-recoil impulses, which is where a lot of optic mounts quietly lose zero over time. The mount body is 7075-T6 billet aluminum with a hard coat anodized finish per Mil-A-8625F. The steel alloy clamp and nut are Nitride-coated for corrosion resistance. The overall profile is kept deliberately low and snag-free, with a minimal component count that reduces the number of things that can loosen, break, or require adjustment in the field.
