Description
The BCM Mod 4 is a purpose-built AR pistol grip designed around the way modern shooters actually run a rifle — with accessories forward of the trigger, a more aggressive stance, and an emphasis on precise trigger control. Compared to the classic A2 geometry, the Mod 4 uses a reduced grip angle that brings the wrist into a more neutral position, which lets the trigger finger approach the shoe more consistently and reduces the tendency to torque the muzzle during the press.
The forward tang is extended to close the gap that typically opens between the trigger guard and grip body on mil-spec lowers. That gap is a minor but real interference point during manipulations, and eliminating it keeps the support hand clear during reloads without snagging. The high-rise beavertail fills the web of the hand and helps index the grip the same way every time the rifle is picked up.
The texture is aggressive enough to maintain purchase with wet or gloved hands without being punishing during extended handling. The open bottom keeps the weight down without affecting structural integrity, and the grip ships with the hardware needed to mount it directly to any mil-spec AR lower receiver. Construction is high-impact polymer throughout, made in the United States. This is a straightforward, no-complication upgrade for any shooter who finds standard A2-style grips ergonomically limiting or who wants better geometry for the way contemporary carbine technique is actually taught.
