Compared to the classic A2 geometry, the Mod 4 uses a reduced grip angle that brings the wrist into a more neutral position, which lets the trigger finger approach the shoe more consistently and reduces the tendency to torque the muzzle during the press.

The forward tang is extended to close the gap that typically opens between the trigger guard and grip body on mil-spec lowers.
