The BCM Kinesthetic Angled Grip (KAG) for Picatinny 1913 rails was developed through a collaboration between Bravo Company and Travis Haley of Haley Strategic Partners to address a specific mechanical problem: conventional vertical foregrips and hand stops rely on a single screw and backing nut, which allows the accessory to shift and flex under load. BCM’s patent-pending anchor system instead distributes clamping force across the accessory body rather than concentrating it at a single point, producing a more rigid interface with less movement at the mounting surface.
The grip’s forward rake is the core design decision. Where a vertical grip puts the wrist in a mechanically disadvantaged position during a C-clamp hold — thumb over bore, elbow driving into the handguard — the angled profile aligns the wrist, elbow, and shoulder more naturally, reducing joint fatigue during extended handling. The angle is deliberate and restrained: enough to index the hand consistently in the same position on the forend every time, but not so pronounced that it adds meaningful bulk to the weapon’s profile.
Texturing runs across both the front and rear faces, creating a channel that locks the hand in place under recoil and aids transitions between targets. The slender overall footprint keeps the grip out of the way when it isn’t being used as an active control surface. Construction is impact-resistant polymer, made in the USA. Installation requires a T15 Torx driver. This Flat Dark Earth version matches BCM’s own FDE color family across their handguard and accessory line.
