Description

BCM’s GUNFIGHTER 1-Inch Light Mount in Mod 0 configuration solves a specific problem for shooters running a KeyMod handguard: getting a weapon light out of the way of other accessories without adding bulk or creating snag points. It does this by positioning the light at the 1:30 or 10:30 o’clock station — the upper 45-degree positions — which keeps the body of the light close to the handguard, preserves clearance for a hand stop or vertical grip, and lets the shooter actuate the tail cap or pressure switch without breaking a firing grip.

The mount is fully ambidextrous, meaning it can go on either side of the rail system without modification, so the same unit works whether you prefer left- or right-hand light activation. The clamping ring accepts the majority of 1-inch round-body tactical lights, so it is compatible with a wide range of commonly used handheld and weapon-mounted light bodies without requiring adapters.

Construction is aluminum, and BCM uses a patent-pending anchoring system to lock it into the KeyMod interface. The installation sequence calls for Torx hardware torqued to 30 in-lbs for the mounting screws and 25 in-lbs for the clamping ring screws, with blue thread-locking compound recommended on the mount screws for additional retention under recoil. Total added weight is one ounce, which keeps the front-end balance of the carbine largely unchanged. The low-profile geometry is deliberate: nothing protrudes far enough to catch on gear or a barricade during movement.
