Description

The BCM RAIDER-M handguard is built for shooters who run mission-critical accessories — lights, lasers, and electro-optics — and need the platform to hold zero under that load. The 13-inch length gives you the real estate to position a bipod, a weapon light, and a foregrip without stacking them on top of each other, while the double-wall extrusion construction keeps the assembly rigid enough that anything mounted to it stays where it was zeroed, even after repeated firing cycles.

The top of the handguard runs a continuous, uninterrupted MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, which matters most when you’re mounting an offset laser or LPVO riser and need consistent, repeatable surface contact along the full length. M-LOK slots at the three, six, and nine o’clock positions let you keep weight off areas where you don’t need it, while additional Picatinny sections at those same positions are available where the durability of a 1913 interface is worth the extra ounces. A series of cord and zip-tie ports allow you to route and retain cables cleanly rather than leaving them loose on the outside of the handguard.

BCM’s patented Combat Rail Lock Up system — US Patent 8904691 — uses self-locking cross bolts that drive force equally around the 12 o’clock position of the barrel nut interface, keeping the handguard centered on the top rail and preventing it from walking forward or rearward during sustained fire. The handguard itself weighs approximately 11.7 ounces, with mounting hardware adding another 2.3 ounces. The whole assembly is finished in a hardcoat anodize over 6061-T6 aluminum.
