Description

The BCM Mod 3 Stock with Marksman Risers is built around a straightforward problem: most collapsible stocks are designed with iron sights or a red dot in mind, leaving shooters running magnified optics or night vision gear without a consistent cheek weld across positions. The two included friction-fit M3 marksman risers — one approximately half an inch tall, the other roughly eight-tenths of an inch — address that directly. Each riser mounts in six positions along the stock and can be oriented forward or reversed, so a shooter can dial in the correct head height for a low-powered variable optic or a night vision device without shimming anything or adding separate comb risers.

The stock itself weighs 6.4 ounces, kept there through a double-walled H-beam internal structure that avoids the flex and rattle common in thinly walled polymer designs without adding material where it isn’t doing structural work. The buttpad is removable, diamond-textured for positive shoulder contact during high-ready manipulation, and the side panels carry the same non-slip texture for supported positions. Both horizontal and vertical sling attachment points are machined in, and either will accept the BCM MCMR-SM Quick Detachable Sling Mount if you want a tool-free detach option — though any standard sling works without additional hardware.

Positioning the stock on the buffer tube uses a patented internal latch operated by an ergonomic external lever, allowing one-handed length adjustment and tool-free removal from the tube entirely. The riser kit is what separates this package from the standard Mod 3: if your optic setup sits low enough that a flat stock comb works, the base stock is the practical choice.
