The B-14 HMR is built for shooters who want a single rifle that can move between a precision long-range match and a hunting trip without compromising either role. The stock integrates a mini-chassis molded directly into the polymer — rather than bedding a barreled action into a conventional stock, this approach anchors the action against a rigid aluminum structure, which gives each shot a consistent interface between metal and stock and removes a common source of vertical spread as the barrel heats up.

The barrel is cut from 4140 chrome-moly steel in a No. 6 taper, a profile that keeps weight reasonable while still providing enough mass to manage heat during extended strings of fire. A 20-inch barrel in .308 Winchester trades some of the velocity headroom available from longer tubes, but it handles and carries more naturally in the field and remains well within the efficient pressure curve for the cartridge. The 1-in-10-inch twist rate is a deliberate choice for .308: it stabilizes the mid- to heavyweight projectiles — roughly 168 to 185 grains — that precision shooters favor for their superior ballistic coefficients, so handloaders and match-ammo users will find this barrel well matched to their standard loads. The muzzle is threaded 5/8″-24 tpi, which accepts the suppressor and muzzle device standard for this bore diameter.

The B-14 action uses a two-lug bolt with a coned nose and a sliding plate extractor. The coned geometry guides cartridges into the chamber reliably even under rough field conditions, and the sliding extractor maintains consistent tension on the case rim rather than snapping over it, which contributes to dependable extraction. The cheekpiece adjusts for height and the buttstock accepts length-of-pull spacers, so fit can be dialed in without sending the rifle to a stock maker. QD sling cups are built into the stock.
