The BoreSnake Den is a compact bore-cleaning system built for shotgunners who want a thorough clean without hauling a rod kit to the range or the field. The design works in a single pull: a weighted brass cord threads through the chamber end, and as you draw it through the bore, three actions happen in sequence. A small floss section at the front loosens fouling and unburned powder before the brush ever touches the bore. Embedded bronze bristles then scrub the chamber and bore walls, breaking up caked residue that a patch alone would smear rather than lift. Behind the brush, a substantial cotton tail — with a cleaning surface far greater than a standard cleaning patch — wipes the bore nearly dry in that same pass.

Because all three stages happen in one continuous pull, the whole process takes seconds rather than minutes. A few drops of lubricating oil applied to the tail before the final pass leaves a protective film on the bore without requiring a separate step. When you are done, the entire snake goes in the washing machine and comes out ready to use again, so there are no patches to restock and no brushes to replace on a separate schedule.
