Keeping a rifle bore clean between range sessions is straightforward work, and the BoreSnake Den from Hoppe’s is built around making that job fast and portable. The system pairs the original one-pass BoreSnake cleaning snake with a compact, hard-sided carrying case sized to fit inside a range bag or backpack without rattling loose or snagging on other gear.

The cleaning snake itself handles the job in a single pull. A bronze brush integrated into the body scrubs carbon fouling from the bore, while the trailing fabric section sweeps out the loosened debris in the same pass. That tail section offers a surface area roughly 160 times greater than a standard cleaning patch, which means it moves material rather than just redistributing it. No separate jag, no rod sections to assemble — one pull from breech to muzzle and the barrel is clear.

The Den case adds a practical detail: its lid is designed to function as a pull handle, snapping into place so you can draw the snake through the bore without needing a separate T-handle or improvised grip.
