Description
The BoreSnake Viper with Den is a pull-through bore cleaner built for shooters who want a fast, effective solution for pistol maintenance without carrying a full rod-and-patch kit. It is sized for .22 caliber pistols and handles the entire cleaning sequence in a single pass.
The design works by combining two separate actions into one pull. A bronze brush embedded in the cord scrubs carbon and powder fouling off the bore walls, while the wider fabric tail that follows it sweeps out loosened debris and polishes the surface. Because the cleaning area of the fabric section is substantially larger than a conventional patch, it makes more contact with the rifling on each pass rather than relying on repeated strokes. The result is a bore that is clear of loose fouling after one pull rather than multiple exchanges of materials.
The Viper version includes the Snake Den, a compact plastic case with a clear body that doubles as a handle. The lid locks into the case to form a grip, so you can pull the snake through without needing a separate handle or improvised grip. When the job is done, the snake drops back into the case for storage, which keeps it from picking up pocket lint or grit between uses. The case is small enough to drop into a range bag pocket or a cleaning kit without taking up meaningful space.
This is a practical tool for .22 pistol owners who clean after every range session and want something faster than a traditional cleaning rod setup without sacrificing contact with the bore.
