A weighted brass drop cord feeds the snake from the muzzle end, and the tool’s integrated trio of bronze bore brushes scrubs carbon and copper fouling on the way through. Where the original BoreSnake used a single brush, the Viper adds a third, which translates to more mechanical scrubbing action per pass without requiring any additional effort from the shooter. Behind the brushes, the woven tail provides substantially more contact surface than a standard cleaning patch, picking up what the brushes break loose.

The included Den addresses the one practical drawback of pull-through snakes: they tangle in a range bag and pick up debris when left loose.
