Getting a scope or red dot on paper before heading to the range saves ammunition, range time, and the frustration of chasing a zero from scratch. The Bushnell Laser Boresighter is built for that job across a wide spectrum of firearms — rifles, handguns, and shotguns — without requiring you to fire a single round. A battery-powered laser projects a reference point down the bore so you can align your optic to a meaningful starting point rather than guessing.

The tool is constructed from metal and assembled to a standard Bushnell describes as suited for a lifetime of use. It is not a substitute for live-fire zeroing, and it is not meant to be — the expectation is that you walk onto the range with your first shots landing on paper, then tune from there rather than spending the first half of your session finding the target at all. That is the genuine practical value here: reducing wasted rounds during the initial zeroing process.

The kit ships with seven arbors, which is what lets a single unit work across the full .22 through .50 caliber range. Each arbor is sized to seat the boresighter concentrically in a specific bore diameter, so the laser’s projection is centered relative to the barrel’s axis. Three LR-44 batteries are included. The regional lock limits use to the United States.
