Placing the G5I reticle on the first focal plane means the ranging and holdover marks stay proportional to the target across the entire magnification range. At 6x the reticle is small and uncluttered; at 36x the subtensions have scaled with the target, so a holdover correct at low power is equally correct at the top end without any conversion math. That consistency is the core reason FFP designs dominate purpose-built precision work.

The RevLimiter zero stop does two things worth understanding. It gives the elevation turret a physical barrier at zero so returning from a dialed correction is fast and requires no counting clicks in low light or under time pressure. It can also be set slightly below your true zero, which is useful if you need to dial down for an unusually close shot without losing your reference point. Windage and elevation adjustments are mechanically independent, so driving the elevation to its limit does not pull the windage off-center — a failure mode that is not hypothetical in lesser designs.

The ED Prime objective glass is paired with full multi-coated elements and Bushnell’s EXO Barrier lens treatment, which bonds to the glass surface rather than sitting on top of it, making the coating resistant to wiping damage in field conditions. The scope is argon-purged and rated IP67, meaning the internal atmosphere stays dry and the waterproofing holds under submersion rather than just rain exposure. A locking diopter prevents the eyepiece setting from drifting after the scope is packed, transported, or jostled.
