Description
The EOTech Vudu 1-10x28mm FFP with the LE5 reticle is built for shooters who need one optic to handle both close-quarters work and precision shooting at distance without compromising either. That kind of range demands a first focal plane design, which means the reticle scales proportionally as you move through the magnification range — so the MRAD subtensions printed into the LE5 remain accurate whether you are dialed to 1x or 10x. You are never working with holdover values that only apply at a single power setting.
The LE5 itself is a Christmas-tree-style layout centered on a fine crosshair rather than a dot, which keeps the aiming point clean at high magnification while the branching windage and elevation hash marks give you precise hold options for wind calls and moving targets without touching the turrets. The low-profile elevation turret uses a push/pull locking mechanism to prevent accidental adjustments during movement, and the windage turret is capped — an arrangement that suits field use where you want to set zero and leave it alone.
The tube is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum and runs 34mm in diameter, providing a wide adjustment range for mounting flexibility. A removable throw lever ships in the box, letting you move through the full magnification range quickly in situations where conditions change. Power comes from a single CR2032 battery. At just over 21 ounces and under 11 inches long, this is a scope designed to ride on a carbine-length platform without upsetting the balance of the rifle.
