Description

The Bushnell RXC-200 and RXU-200 are purpose-built for optics-ready compact and subcompact pistols — the kind of carry guns where profile and weight matter as much as optical performance. The RXU-200 is the ultra-compact variant of the two, built around a shorter lens height that keeps the overall footprint as low and snag-free as possible, which is a meaningful trade-off compared to the taller RXC-200: a lower lens is harder to catch on a holster or cover garment during a draw, but it also gives you less glass to find under stress. For shooters prioritizing concealment over the fastest possible dot acquisition, that compromise makes sense.

The 6 MOA dot is sized for speed rather than precision at distance — at typical defensive ranges it covers the target efficiently without requiring fine alignment, and the automatic brightness adjustment means the dot responds to ambient light rather than requiring manual intervention between environments. There are no buttons or external controls to snag, which also means no inadvertent adjustments when the pistol is holstered.

The housing is machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum, the same alloy used in the RXC-200, which keeps weight low while providing enough structural rigidity to meet MIL-STD-810 impact and vibration standards — relevant on a pistol platform where the optic cycles through recoil with every round. The lens carries Bushnell’s EXO Barrier coating, which bonds molecularly to the glass to shed water, oil, and debris rather than simply sitting on the surface. An IPX7 rating means the sight can be submerged to one meter for up to thirty minutes. The CR2032 battery loads from the bottom and powers the sight for more than 50,000 hours at mid-level brightness. The integral rear dovetail allows iron sights to serve as a backup if needed. Both windage and elevation adjustments are accessible without removing the sight.
