Description

The C&H Precision FNX45-RSH is an optic mounting plate designed specifically for the FN FNX-45 Tactical and FNX-45 Tactical FDE, bridging the factory optic cut on those slides to the footprint used by the Trijicon RMR, Trijicon SRO, and Holosun 407C, 507C, 507Comp, and 508T red dots. C&H Precision machines the plate from 6061 aluminum and finishes it with a MIL-SPEC Type III hard anodize in black. That anodize process produces a surface hardness well above bare aluminum, which matters on a component that sits between a steel slide and a steel optic body and takes the full recoil impulse of every round fired. All mounting hardware is stainless steel, which resists corrosion in environments where the carbon steel screws found on some plates would eventually seize or pit.

The plate is produced on HAAS CNC equipment and goes through multiple inspection steps before shipping. Because slide dimensions and optic tolerances vary even within the same model run, C&H recommends dry-fitting all components before final installation — a straightforward precaution that takes a few minutes and avoids any mismatch issues before anything is torqued down.

One practical consideration: mounting any optic plate raises the sight line above the factory slide profile, which typically makes factory iron sights too low for co-witness use.
