Description
The Glock MOS platform is purpose-built to accept optics, but the factory adapter plates it ships with are a generic compromise — they have to cover multiple optic footprints across a broad product range. The C&H Precision V4 MIL/LEO adapter takes a different approach: it is cut to fit exactly one optic footprint, the Holosun 509T, so the interface between plate and sight is as tight as the machining allows rather than as loose as a multi-optic solution requires.
The plate itself is CNC machined from mid-grade steel, then finished with an electro-deposition painted black coating. Electro-deposition painting bonds the finish at the molecular level rather than simply spraying a layer on top, which keeps coating thickness consistent and predictable across the mounting surfaces — a practical concern when the fit between the MOS slide pocket and the plate has almost no tolerance to spare. Mounting hardware is stainless steel Torx-head M3 screws, which resist corrosion and accept more torque than equivalent Phillips-head fasteners before the drive recess strips.
Compatibility spans a broad range of Glock MOS pistols across both Gen 4 and Gen 5 frames, from the G17 and G19 through the G34, G40, G41, G45, G47, and several others. If you are running a full-size or compact Glock on the MOS system and want to mount a 509T without committing to slide milling, this plate is the direct path. C&H recommends dry-fitting all components before final installation, which is sound practice any time steel parts are going together under torque in a precision application.
