Description
The Banshee Mk4 is built for shooters who want a compact, AR-platform pistol that runs the ubiquitous .223 Rem/5.56 NATO round without compromise. It suits the range shooter who wants a short, maneuverable package as much as it suits anyone building a purpose-driven home-defense setup around a familiar caliber and readily available magazines.
CMMG machines the receiver from 7075-T6 aluminum and finishes it in Armor Black Cerakote, which resists corrosion and abrasion better than anodizing alone. The 12.5-inch barrel carries a black nitride finish, a treatment that hardens the bore surface and reduces friction without adding appreciable thickness or weight — useful on a barrel this length where heat cycles tend to be shorter and more intense. The 1/2×28 thread pitch on the muzzle is the standard pattern for this caliber, meaning the suppressor or muzzle device market is fully open to you without adapters. The EML 11-inch M-LOK handguard keeps the overall envelope short while leaving the shooter room to position a light, foregrip, or sling attachment without crowding the gas block.
The ambidextrous safety and charging handle mean the pistol runs without modification for left-handed shooters. The CMMG Zeroed drop-in trigger is a functional starting point, and because this is a standard Mk4 lower the trigger pocket accepts any mil-spec compatible drop-in unit if you want to change it later. The pistol ships with a 30-round Magpul PMAG, and the upper is optics-ready, so glass selection is entirely at your discretion rather than a concession to a bundled sight you may not want.
