The leaf spring trigger system is worth understanding before you buy. Unlike coil spring designs, a leaf spring maintains a more consistent force curve through the trigger stroke, which tends to produce a more predictable break in both double- and single-action modes. Single action gives you a light, deliberate pull for precise work at distance; double action lets you fire from a ready position without manually cocking the hammer first. For hunting use, that flexibility matters.

The 6-inch barrel is ventilated and ribbed along the top, which does two things: the rib gives you a flat sighting plane that reduces mirage distortion during extended range sessions, and the venting reduces the barrel’s effective weight without sacrificing the sight radius you need for accurate shooting at longer distances.
