The answer here is a rifle built to the same mechanical standard as the standard DDM4 V1 but configured with a fixed 10-round magazine, eliminating the detachable-magazine feature that triggers restrictions in many states. That fixed magazine is not an afterthought — it is a deliberate compliance configuration on an otherwise uncompromised platform.

The DDM4 Rail 12.0 handguard runs the length of the carbine’s upper and provides full-length Picatinny rail on top, giving a consistent, uninterrupted sight plane and mounting surface for lights, lasers, or a forward grip without any rail gap at the receiver junction. Cold hammer forging produces a barrel with a bore surface that resists wear more uniformly than cut-rifled alternatives, which matters over a long round count.
