Description

The EOTech G45 is a fixed 5x magnifier built for shooters who run a holographic sight and need to reach targets at greater distance without swapping optics or losing their zero. Paired with a compatible EOTech holographic sight, it lets a rifle transition from close-quarters work to longer-range precision without any fundamental change to the shooting platform.

The Switch-to-Side mounting system is the core mechanical feature here. Rather than requiring the magnifier to be removed from the rail entirely, the QD STS mount pivots the G45 laterally out of the optical path — a motion that takes less than a second and keeps the unit on the gun and ready to swing back into position. That means no loose parts to manage and no time lost re-indexing a detached optic. The mount is compatible with both 1-inch Weaver and MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails, covering the majority of modern rifle platforms.

The G45 itself provides adjustable horizontal and vertical alignment along with a diopter adjustment, allowing the shooter to dial in a sharp image to their individual eye rather than accepting whatever focus the factory setting provides. Internal fog-resistant optics and water resistance mean the unit performs in wet or cold conditions where fogging would otherwise be a practical problem. At 2.6 inches of eye relief, the G45 gives enough room to maintain a consistent cheek weld without crowding the eyepiece, and the 4.4-degree field of view is appropriate for a 5x magnification class.
