Description
The EOTech Vudu 3-9×32 Kit is a compact, low-power variable optic built for shooters who want a single optic capable of handling both close-quarters work and moderate-distance precision without swapping glass. The second focal plane placement means the reticle subtensions are calibrated at a fixed magnification rather than scaling with zoom — useful when you want a clean, consistent aiming point at 3x for fast target acquisition, with the understanding that ranging holdovers should be read at the reticle’s designated power setting.
The scope is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, keeping the overall package light without sacrificing the rigidity needed to hold zero under hard use. At roughly 6.8 inches in overall length, it sits unusually short for a 3-9x optic, which helps maintain a flatter balance point on shorter carbines and avoids pushing the eyepiece into awkward territory on rifles with offset controls. The integrated mount base is also compatible with aftermarket mini-ACOG mounts, so you are not locked into one mounting solution if your setup changes.
The HC-1 reticle is illuminated with ten brightness settings driven by a CR2032 battery, which provides roughly 300 hours of runtime — enough that leaving it on standby between range sessions is not a significant concern. Turrets are capped and offer quarter-MOA adjustments, keeping them protected from inadvertent movement during field use. This kit includes a ring mount and an EFLX micro red dot that attaches to the front section of the tube and can be positioned upright or at a 45-degree offset, giving you an immediate transition option for targets inside the minimum eye relief distance of the scope.
