Description

The Steiner T6Xi in this configuration is built for precision rifle work where holds must be trusted at any magnification setting — long-range target shooting, field use on unknown-distance terrain, or competition formats that demand fast reticle math under pressure. Placing the SCR reticle on the first focal plane means the subtension markings stay true to scale across the full magnification range, so a mil hold read at 2.5x is the same angular value at 15x. That consistency removes the mental conversion step that second-focal-plane scopes require whenever a shooter changes power, which matters when time or conditions are against you.

The 34mm main tube provides the internal adjustment range needed for long-range elevation work, giving the erector system more mechanical travel than a 30mm tube allows. The turrets use Steiner’s Never-Lost locking design, which keeps a zero from shifting during field carry or incidental contact while still allowing deliberate adjustment without tools. The second rotation indicator addresses a real safety concern with tall turrets: knowing at a glance whether you are on the first or second revolution of adjustment prevents gross elevation errors that are otherwise invisible until a shot goes badly wrong.

The 50mm objective keeps the exit pupil usable in lower light across the magnification range — at 2.5x the exit pupil is wide enough that head position is forgiving, while the 15x end still delivers a bright sight picture in conditions where smaller objectives begin to dim.
