Description

The EOTech DCBL is a pistol-caliber suppressor built for shooters running 9mm platforms who want genuine sound reduction without the gas-in-the-face penalty that often comes with suppressed pistol-caliber work. Its Vent-Forward design actively redirects propellant gases toward the muzzle end of the can rather than allowing them to cycle back through the action, which meaningfully reduces the blowback and pressure spike that unsuppressed or poorly designed cans send back toward the shooter’s face and eyes. That makes a real difference in sustained shooting comfort, particularly on semi-blowback and delayed-blowback hosts where excess backpressure compounds over a course of fire.

The body is constructed from Grade 5 titanium, an alloy chosen because it carries a strength-to-weight ratio that lets EOTech keep the tube thin and light without sacrificing the structural integrity needed to handle sustained fire. The exterior is finished in a high-temp Cerakote black that resists corrosion and holds up to the heat cycles a suppressor sees during use. At 1.6 inches in diameter, the DCBL clears most factory sights on compact and full-size pistols without requiring a significant riser, though fit will depend on host and mount configuration. The can requires a minimum barrel length of 10.3 inches, making it well suited to PCCs and longer-barreled pistol platforms rather than compact carry guns. It is also HUB-compatible, meaning it works with EOTech’s mounting ecosystem for shooters who want to share the can across multiple hosts. The measured sound signature comes in at 113.5 dB, placing it in the hearing-safe range under most standard testing conditions.
