Description

The EOTech Vudu X is a low-power variable optic built for shooters who need to move between close-range targets and medium-distance precision work without changing tools. That 1x-to-6x range covers the two scenarios where most carbine work actually happens: acquiring a near target fast at true 1x and reaching out to stretch the round’s capability at the top end.

Placing the reticle on the second focal plane means the DP1 subtensions are calibrated for one specific magnification — typically maximum power — so ranging and holdover marks are accurate when dialed to 6x, while the reticle stays a consistent, uncluttered size at lower settings. For a shooter who uses the reticle primarily at full magnification for distance work and relies on speed rather than reticle holds up close, that trade-off works in their favor. The illumination gives the reticle a usable center point at 1x in bright daylight, where an unlit etched reticle can disappear against a busy background.

The 30mm main tube is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, giving the scope wall thickness that supports a wider internal adjustment range — 160 MOA of both elevation and windage travel — without requiring a dramatically larger body.
