The Grand Power P1 Mk23 is a compact, optic-ready 9mm pistol built for shooters who want the handling characteristics of a full-size platform in a more manageable frame. Grand Power designed it as a scaled-down companion to their K100 series, carrying forward the mechanical refinements of the Mk23 generation rather than treating compactness as a compromise.

The most significant update in the Mk23 line is the revised barrel locking system, which Grand Power redesigned to improve lockup consistency and contribute to a more controlled return to battery. The slide and grip both receive updated texturing in this generation, giving the shooter more purchase during rapid manipulation or in adverse conditions without requiring aftermarket stippling or tape. The frame also incorporates a milled optic mounting interface, with the slide cut to accept several common footprints including the Trijicon RMR, Vortex Venom, and Shield SMS, so the pistol is ready for a red dot without additional machining.

The three-dot iron sights work as a stand-alone system for shooters who prefer to run the pistol without an optic, and the manual safety gives those who carry with one an additional level of retention control.
