Description
The Grand Power Stribog SP9A3G is a pistol-caliber carbine built for shooters who want a compact, maneuverable 9mm platform with genuine rifle ergonomics rather than a converted handgun frame. The fixed stock and 16-inch barrel give it the handling characteristics of a purpose-built carbine while keeping the manual of arms straightforward for anyone already comfortable with modern sporting rifles.
The SP9A3G runs on a delayed blowback operating system, which moderates the bolt velocity on extraction compared to straight blowback designs — that difference matters in a 9mm carbine because it softens the sharp, abrupt recoil impulse that simpler blowback actions produce and makes follow-up shots easier to manage. The non-reciprocating charging handle keeps the shooter’s hand out of the action cycle, reducing the chance of interference during manipulation under stress.
Magazine compatibility with Glock-pattern double-stack magazines broadens what a shooter can source locally, and the ambidextrous bolt lock, release, and safety lever mean controls are fully accessible without shifting grip regardless of which hand is dominant. The M-LOK handguard provides a clean mounting surface for lights, slings, and accessories without adding unnecessary weight to the forend. Iron sights are integrated at the factory, so the rifle is ready to run without additional investment in a sight system. A Picatinny rail on the receiver leaves optic options open. The threaded barrel is fitted with a thread protector and accepts standard muzzle devices. The Flat Dark Earth finish is Grand Power’s own designation for this variant’s color, and the rifle ships with a hard plastic case and one 10-round magazine.
