The LWRC IC-DI in 300 Blackout is built for shooters who want a suppressor-ready rifle that runs reliably across the full range of subsonic and supersonic loads without manual adjustment. The direct-impingement gas system is LWRC’s own short-stroke design, and at 16.1 inches the barrel sits in a length that keeps the rifle manageable while still delivering meaningful velocity with both load types—a practical compromise for a caliber where barrel length trades matter more than in most rifle cartridges.

The 1-in-7 twist rate stabilizes the heavier subsonic projectiles that 300 Blackout shooters typically reach for when running a suppressor, so you are not choosing between bullet weights when selecting ammunition. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24, the standard for 300 Blackout cans, so there is no adapter needed with most suppressors on the market. The handguard is M-Lok free-float, which removes the barrel from any contact with the rail system and keeps zero consistent regardless of how the rifle is supported or slung.
