Description

The HUXWRX QD 556 Flash Hider is built for shooters running a suppressor-ready host who still want a capable, purpose-designed muzzle device for unsuppressed use. Rather than treating flash suppression as an afterthought, HUXWRX engineered this device to meaningfully reduce muzzle flash signature on its own, so your sight picture stays clean and your position stays dark whether or not a can is mounted.

Where this device earns its designation is in the quick-detach interface. It serves as the host mount for the HX-QD suppressor line — including the 556K, 556, 762, 762 Ti, and Magnum Ti variants — as well as FLOW series suppressors, so mounting and removing a can takes seconds rather than requiring tools or a separate adapter. Shooters running VENTUM series suppressors can add the HUX HUB adapter to retain compatibility.

At 2.96 inches overall, the device adds 2.34 inches to your barrel’s measured length. That geometry is intentional: on a 13.7-inch barrel with the standard 0.6-inch thread engagement, the combination reaches 16 inches of total barrel-plus-device length, and on a 13.9-inch barrel the result is 16.2 inches. HUXWRX pre-drills the device to simplify pin-and-weld work for gunsmiths who need a permanent installation. The 1/2×28 thread pattern is standard for this caliber family, making fitment straightforward on the vast majority of compatible hosts. Finished in black, it presents a low-profile, consistent appearance inline with the barrel.
