HUX HUB MINI STICTION LOCK ADAPTER

Description

The HUXWRX HUB Mini Stiction Lock Adapter is the mounting solution HUXWRX designed specifically to pair with the Stiction Lock Comp 9mm at 1/2×28 threads. Where generic adapters ask you to trust that tolerances and geometry will align, this one is engineered around a defined mating component — the Stiction Lock Comp — so fitment is predictable rather than approximate.

The body is machined from 17-4 stainless steel, a precipitation-hardened alloy chosen for its combination of tensile strength and corrosion resistance. Under repeated cycling and the heat cycles that go with sustained 9mm use, that material holds its dimensions in a way that softer alloys do not, which matters for a mounting interface that depends on consistent thread engagement to stay put. The matte black finish complements the steel’s natural resistance to surface oxidation rather than substituting for it.

The Stiction Lock system itself addresses a problem common to direct-thread suppressors: rotational movement. Direct-thread mounting is simple and lightweight, but without a mechanism to resist back-rotation under recoil impulse, the mounting point can walk loose over a course of fire. The stiction-based design uses controlled friction to hold rotational position without requiring a dedicated locking ring or additional tooling. The result is a direct-thread adapter that stays indexed where you set it.

This is a purpose-built component for shooters running a 9mm host who want HUXWRX’s own mounting solution rather than a generic adapter. It is not a universal-fit part — its value is precisely that it is not.
