The KAK Industry K-SPEC is built for shooters who push their AR-15 hard — particularly those running suppressors, operating in dirty environments, or both simultaneously. Where a standard BCG tolerates clean-range conditions and little else, the K-SPEC is engineered around the problems that arise when gas pressure, heat, and debris all compound at once.
The dual ejector system addresses one of the more common failure points in suppressed or high-volume fire: a single ejector spring can fatigue or become fouled, leading to inconsistent case extraction. Two ejectors work redundantly, so extraction remains positive even when one side is carrying more load than ideal. The angled carrier rail cuts — KAK calls these Slotted Angled Carrier Rails — are not cosmetic. They channel debris away from the bearing surfaces rather than letting it accumulate and bind the carrier’s travel inside the upper receiver. That same geometry also helps manage the excess gas volume that suppressed fire pushes back through the system.
Downward-venting gas ports redirect propellant gas away from the shooter’s face, which matters most during suppressed use when blowback through the charging handle area is noticeably worse than in unsuppressed configurations. The carrier is machined from 8620 steel with a Hard Chrome finish and ground to tight dimensional tolerances on the rails, bolt runs, and gas bores. The bolt is 9310 steel, also Hard Chrome finished, and MPI tested. The firing pin is 8740 steel, Swiss-turned, heat treated, and chrome plated. The cam pin and extractor are 4140 steel. KAK applies Permatex between the gas key and carrier mating surface to guard against loosening under sustained fire. The M16 full-auto profile carrier is compatible with standard AR-15 lower receivers.
