Description
The KAK Industry KF-15 Complete Lower is built for the shooter who wants a ready-to-pair foundation without sourcing and assembling individual components. It arrives with the lower parts kit and milspec buffer tube assembly already installed, so the next step is mating it to an upper receiver and getting to work — no parts hunting, no guesswork on fitment.
The receiver itself is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum produced in the USA, then machined to accept all milspec-dimensioned lower components. That material choice matters because forging aligns the grain structure of the aluminum through compression rather than cutting across it, which produces a denser, more fatigue-resistant part than billet stock cut from a solid block. The Type 3 Class II hard coat anodize — KAK calls the result a deep matte black — is a harder surface treatment than standard Type 2 anodize, offering better resistance to wear at contact points like the takedown pin holes and trigger guard area.
The fire control group pocket is cut to M16 dimensions, which gives you the full footprint to drop in either a standard mil-spec trigger group or any aftermarket fire control unit designed for that pocket without modification. Pictogram selector markings appear on both sides of the lower, which is a practical detail for ambidextrous setups. A threaded hole for an upper receiver tensioning screw lets you dial out any play between upper and lower — useful when running a mix of receivers from different manufacturers. The receiver ships without a stock installed, leaving that selection open to the builder.
