Description

The Radian Weapons A-DAC 15 is a fully ambidextrous lower receiver built for AR15-platform rifles, and it addresses a genuine limitation of standard AR architecture: right-handed shooters who want to lock the bolt open typically have to shift their firing hand off the pistol grip to reach the bolt catch. The patented A-DAC (Ambidextrous Dual Action Catch) solves this without requiring that hand movement. Pull the charging handle rearward, press the right-side magazine release button, and release the charging handle — the bolt locks back. That workflow keeps the firing hand in place throughout the reload sequence, which matters in any context where speed and economy of motion count.

The receiver is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum rather than cast or forged, which allows Radian to cut the integral trigger guard and flared magazine well directly into the material without secondary assembly. The Radian OD Green Cerakote finish is applied over that machined surface before the hardware goes in. The SART (Self-Adjusting Receiver Tensioner) is a spring-loaded plunger that takes up the gap between upper and lower receivers — a variable that differs between manufacturers and individual components — so fit stays consistent regardless of which upper you pair with it.

Controls include the Radian Talon 45/90 ambidextrous safety selector, which ships with both long and short levers so you can configure throw angle and paddle length to match your grip and glove preference. A left-side magazine release paddle and a right-side bolt release complete the ambidextrous layout. All proprietary hardware — extended bolt catch, magazine release components, right-side bolt release paddle, and hammer pin — is included in the box.
