Description
The Lantac M-SPEC 22S is built for rimfire shooters who want a suppressor that can be tuned rather than simply installed and forgotten. Its modular baffle stack—five individual baffles that pull free without tools—lets you shorten the overall configuration when you want a more compact package, or run all five when you want maximum sound attenuation. That flexibility also makes cleaning straightforward: fouling from rimfire ammunition accumulates faster than with centerfire, and a suppressor you can fully disassemble is one you’ll actually maintain.
The body and baffles are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the same alloy specification used in aircraft structural components. It keeps weight down without sacrificing the rigidity needed to maintain baffle alignment under repeated firing. The exterior carries a MIL-A-8625 Type III hardcoat anodize finish, which is the hard, porous-free anodizing standard used on military hardware—more abrasion-resistant than standard anodize and suited to regular handling in the field.
Lantac machines both included mounts from 17-4 PH stainless steel for corrosion resistance. The direct-thread adapter uses a 1/2×28 thread pattern, which covers the vast majority of threaded rimfire barrels on the market. A Plan-B adapter is also included in the box, giving you the option to attach the suppressor to a compatible muzzle device already installed on your host rather than threading on directly—useful if you run the same suppressor across multiple hosts with different muzzle configurations.
The M-SPEC 22S is rated for .22 LR, .17 HMR, and .22 WMR, and it is made in the United States.
