Description

The Lantac Spada-ML is built for AR-15 shooters who want a slim, rigid free-float platform without the bulk that comes with many full-featured handguards. Its narrow outer diameter keeps the grip natural for shooters with smaller hands or those running the rifle in confined spaces, while the free-float design eliminates any contact with the barrel — meaning sling tension, bipod pressure, or a rested forearm won’t walk your point of impact during a course of fire.

Lantac machines the Spada from extruded 6005A-T6 aluminum, a grade chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio, then finishes it in Type 3 Hardcoat Anodize, Class 2 Deep Black. Type 3 hardcoat is the thicker, harder anodize specification — it resists wear at attachment points and along the rail surfaces where accessories are frequently repositioned. The M-LOK slots let you mount lights, lasers, and other accessories directly to the handguard without adding a continuous Picatinny rail section everywhere, which keeps overall weight down and preserves the narrow profile.

The retention system is patented by Lantac and works differently from a standard barrel nut setup: the handguard clamps onto the barrel nut and cannot be pulled free unless all three fixing screws are removed first. That arrangement reinforces the receiver end of the handguard against rotation and axial movement, which matters when accessories are loaded and the rifle sees hard use. All mounting hardware ships with the handguard. Chambered for AR-15 platforms only. Made in the USA.
