Description
The Arsenal Circle 10 M-74N is a factory original magazine built for AK-pattern rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm, and it is the kind of component worth buying once and not thinking about again. Arsenal produces it to the same military specification used for their own rifles, which means the feed geometry, lip dimensions, and locking engagement are matched to the platform rather than approximated.
The body is made from high-quality black polymer molded in the distinctive waffle pattern, which reduces weight while adding structural rigidity across the body panels. What keeps this magazine from being just a polymer box is the steel reinforcement at both the front and rear, combined with steel feed lips and a steel locking lug. Feed lips on polymer-only magazines are the most common point of failure under hard use — they spread under spring pressure over time, causing feed failures. The steel lips here maintain consistent cartridge presentation regardless of how many cycles the magazine sees. The steel locking lug means the magazine locks into the receiver the same way every time, which matters for both reliability and for ensuring the magazine releases cleanly under pressure.
Arsenal states this is the only magazine to pass military drop tests — loaded — at a 100 percent rate. Dropping a loaded rifle is a realistic field condition, and a magazine that cracks or separates at the locking lug in that moment turns a functional rifle into a problem. The 30-round capacity pairs standard with the platform, and the waffle pattern body gives a positive grip surface when performing a magazine change under any conditions. This is a current-production magazine, not surplus stock.
