Description
CMMG’s Gen II 5.7 AR Conversion Magazine is built for shooters running a CMMG 5.7x28mm Radial Delayed Blowback upper on a Mk4 or standard Mil-Spec AR15 lower. The conversion concept lets you feed the flat-shooting, low-recoil 5.7x28mm cartridge through a familiar AR platform without replacing your lower receiver — the magazine is purpose-designed to make that pairing work reliably.
This is the second-generation version, and the changes from the original are functional as well as cosmetic. The feed lips have been redesigned to improve cartridge presentation, which matters with the bottlenecked 5.7x28mm case — a geometry that behaves differently at the feed lips than a conventional pistol-caliber or rifle round. Getting that angle right is what separates consistent feeding from stoppages. The body also features a stylized textured grip panel, which gives you something to index against when stripping or seating the magazine under any conditions, and the caliber is engraved directly into the side so there is no guessing when you are pulling from a bag with mixed magazines.
At 10 rounds, this is the restricted-capacity option in CMMG’s lineup for this cartridge, useful where higher-capacity magazines are not practical or where a lower-profile fit is preferred. It ships as a single magazine. CMMG backs it with their Lifetime Quality Guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship.
