Description
Strike Industries built this AR-15 magazine around a practical problem: rounds that hesitate on the feed tray cost time and reliability. The AccuRamp feed tray geometry addresses that by guiding the first round into a consistent presentation angle every time the bolt strips it, so the initial round from a fresh magazine feeds as smoothly as one mid-stack. Paired with an anti-tilt follower, the design maintains even upward pressure on the ammunition column regardless of how the magazine is oriented or gripped during a reload, reducing the likelihood of a nose-dive or feed failure under stress.
The body is molded from Strike Industries’ SI Polymer Extreme carbonate material — a high-strength, lightweight polymer that keeps the magazine light without sacrificing resistance to impact or temperature variation. The translucent smoke finish is functional rather than decorative: it lets you assess remaining round count without removing the magazine from the rifle. Anti-slip finger grooves are molded into both sides of the body, giving a more positive grip surface during extraction and insertion, which matters when hands are wet or gloved. A channel molded into the base plate is sized to accept a shock cord from a magazine pouch, providing a secondary retention method when running a chest rig or plate carrier.
The slick-profile body sits flush enough to work in double- and triple-stack magazine pouches without snagging. The base plate is permanently sealed and is not designed for disassembly or modification. Made in the USA.
