When folded, the legs and housing tuck neatly beneath the barrel, keeping the rifle balanced and snag-free during movement. Deployment is fast and quiet, which matters when transitioning to a shooting position under time pressure.

The leg extensions operate on a push-button detent system with seven locking positions, so height adjustments are made with one hand and stay put once set. Tilt adjustment is handled by a knurled locking knob that requires no tools and works reliably with gloves on — a practical consideration in cold-weather or field use. The 50 degrees of total tilt gives meaningful cant correction on uneven ground without having to reposition the rifle itself.

Construction combines Mil-Spec hard-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum with stainless steel hardware and reinforced injection-molded polymer. That mix keeps weight down — just over 11 ounces — without sacrificing the structural rigidity needed to handle consistent forward loading pressure in the prone position. The low-profile exterior conceals the internal mechanisms, which reduces the chance of snagging on gear or vegetation.
